We offer three
classes in Flyball: Basic,
Intermediate
and Advanced.
All classes cover information on the sport of
Flyball as well as training your dog to perform the
pattern (four hurdles and box deployment), with each
level breaking down the requirements for
competition. Basic
students are welcome to attend as non-competitors,
but Intermediate
and Advanced
students should be seeking competition placement.
All size purebred and mixed breed dogs are accepted.
Basic
Flyball dogs must have a working knowledge of the
basic commands "sit" and "come" and perform them in
a high distraction environment. All initial training
is done on leash. Dogs that like to carry things are
preferred but not required. Dog/handler teams
demonstrating proficiency in the sport may be
invited to join the club in competition. Aggressive
dogs must be evaluated prior to class attendance.
Any dogs exhibiting uncontrolled aggressive behavior
may be asked to leave. Please contact us for
