Collectively, 4 Dog
Flight, doesn't offer structured classes in Flyball;
However...
4 Dog Flight still
welcomes new individuals to the dog sport of flyball.
If you think your
dog would be a good candidate for flyball and you're
interested in training him/her to compete, please
feel free to drop by our practices. We normally meet
on Sundays at Huffhines Park in Richardson, Texas -
pending weather conditions or tournaments. Please
join the Yahoo group
http://pets.groups.yahoo.com/group/4DogFlight_Practice
for
up-to-date practice times and practice location
information.
We
ask that your dog be managed on leash, in good
health, and non-aggressive towards people and/or
other dogs.
We
use positive reinforcement training methods
so bring lots of treats and or a toy/tug as
your dog's reward system and a non-correction
collar (no prong, chain, e-collars, or halti
type of collars). The best attire for a flyball dog
is a harness or a martingale style flat collar.
In
addition, make sure you bring water and poop
bags.
We
work with "green dogs" at practice when
time permits.
We
look forward to meeting you and your dog!
