Golf View Motel

For those of you who are not into “roughing” it, Pike Lake Golf & Country Club Resort has made a HUGE EXCEPTION to allow us to stay at their motel, located less than 2 minutes from the trial site.  This is a VERY nice facility, is less than 10 years old, the rooms are HUGE, and can sleep up to 6 people.  Rooms have 2 queen beds (or 1 king) and a pullout sofa, and LOTS of floor space.  Although they are not drive-up rooms, it is single storey, and they plan to room all “disc dog people” at the far end of the building (opposite of the lobby) where there is a door at the end of the hallway to bathroom your dogs.   

They do not normally allow pets, and are doing so as long as we follow a few simple rules :

      1.    All dogs must be/sleep in a crate.  
    2.    Dogs are NOT allowed on the beds or sofas.
    3.    Please clean up after your dog and keep them on leash.
    4.    Credit card required for any “incidents” (*note* NO pet fee required) 

As far as I’m concerned, these are VERY lenient rules and in order to ensure we can use these facilities in the future, I trust everyone will respect these rules and show the owners that “dogsport” owners are better than most!!   I realize that many of your dogs do not normally sleep in crates, but in order to maintain a good reputation with this location, we HAVE to abide by these rules for “just” 1 or 2 nights. 

They have also generously offered us “corporate rates” , so when reserving a room, let them know you are with the “frisbee trial”.  The room rate increases slightly with more people/room, but is still VERY affordable.  They have not limited the # of dogs/room, so please use your own judgment.
