Symon's story, as narrated by
Teresa Castonguay:
"Well, his story is that he is a rescue turned in to the OSPCA in Newmarket by a 'farmer' who said he found him wandering his fields. The OSPCA adopted him to some people on a farm who returned him because he was 'chasing' the horses and putting them in the barn. Border Collie Rescue, Ontario, then picked him up and brought him out here. When I put him on sheep, he displayed a lot of ability and willingness. So . . . I am working with him and seeing how far I can get with his training. I may keep him for trialling or. . . ?"

. . . Teresa found a new home for Symon in
late July, 2000, where he will likely be spoiled and fussed
over as his new owner's only pet.
