Tess died on September 10,
2000. Teresa offers these words as a summary of Tess'
significant place in her life: "Tess was my first dog and she introduced me
to the joy of Border
Collies and the worlds of Agility, Flyball and Herding. She was not an
easy dog and because of
this she also inspired my involvement in Border Collie Rescue. I am
grateful that I was able to provide her with time in the country for her last
year - she had a great time chasing
chipmunks, eating meadow muffins and harassing the cows and sheep. I
buried her at the edge
of the sheep pasture where I'm sure her spirit will roam with all the single
mindedness she
displayed through her life".
