The team attended ten tournaments this year, including Port
Huron, Cookstown, Hagersville,
Caledonia, Mississauga,
Cambridge, Kitchener,
Binbrook, Richmond
Hill, and Rockton. Twice we entered one
team, seven times two teams, and once three teams, or nineteen teams
altogether. These teams raced in Regular
divisions eleven times (Div. 1 = one time, Div. 2 = four times, Div. 3 = two
times, Div. 4 = one time) and in Multibreed divisions eight times (Div. 1 = one
time, Div. 2 = six times, Div. 3 = one time),
placing 1st three times, 2nd six times, 3rd four times, 4th
four times, and 5th twice.
Twelve dogs on the team attended more than one tournament this year, several
with impressive records of participation. Orien alone raced in all ten
tournaments, but Ceilidh, Keita, Matty, and Thunder, raced in nine, Digger,
Galla, Rosie, Sailor, and Whisper, in eight, and Ivy in six.
Among team members, Evan and Carole attended all ten tournaments; Gord and Greg
(as boxloader) attended nine each.
Digger earned his ONYX this season, while Galla, Orien, Matty, Ceilidh, and
Dodger, all earned their FM pins.

As of November 12, a total of 41,524 points have been earned this year by the
dogs on the team. Despite the fact that fully half our dogs are Border
Collies, the top four -- Orien (Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever), Galla
(Shetland Sheepdog), Keita (Soft-Coated Wheaton Terrier), and Matty (Australian
Shepherd) -- represent other breeds.
At least five dogs retired by the end of the season, including Ricki,
Shaunessey, Briar, Myst, and Kate. Disney left part way through the year
to join another team.
