The Birmingham Bandits, the first flyball club in Alabama, was founded by Barbara Skalka and named for one of our fallen soldiers, a rescue Golden.  Our purpose is to have fun with our furry four legged friends and enhance the relationship we share with our very special canine companions.  Furthermore we gather as a team in a supportive environment to enjoy the company of other dog enthusiasts and promote the sport in our area.  We believe strongly in rescue and many of us share our homes with dogs in need.  Having met all these goals, we pursue racing each and every dog to the best of its ability and enjoyment.
