The Summer Shootout Flyball Tournament will be held at the
Bessemer Civic Center

The Bessemer Civic Center is located on U.S. Highway 11.
From I-20/59, take the Academy Drive exit to Hwy 11.
The Civic Center is located next to the Bessemer State Technical College.

The building is fully enclosed, spacious, and air conditioned.
Dogs will run on tuff spun matting over concrete.
A raffle with a variety of goodies will be held on Sunday at noon.

Lodging Information
We have group rates at three hotels, all under Birmingham
Bandits.
1. Jameson Inn, Academy Dr, Bessemer. $83.99 per night, plus $10
pet fee nightly. This is right down the street from the Bessemer
Civic Center and is the best option. To get the group rate you must
reserve by 5/27/08. They have the largest number of available rooms.
2. Sleep Inn, I-459 Bessemer. $79.99 per night, plus $10 pet fee
nightly. They have a 30 lb limit on pet size.
3. Best Western, Academy Dr, Bessemer. $99 nightly. They only have
10 remaining rooms for the weekend.
