The year was 1868. Birmingham, the devastated southern town in Alabama, was struggling to survive. The streets withered and became lawless. It was a time where Bandits ruled and fought over control of this gun running town. The Dilinger Dogs hijacked a lone wagon headed West loaded with rifles stolen from the army by the Canine Kids. On the weekend following Independence Day, the two gangs met in the seldom told tale of The Birmingham Bandit Shootout in front of Miss Kitty's Saloon. The stories of The O.K. Corral are mild compared to what happened on those dusty streets in Alabama over 130 years ago.
Join us at the third Annual Birmingham Bandits Summer Shootout, a commemorative tourney of a forgotten hot summer day in 1868. Come see what gang.....I mean team will be left standing on Saturday and Sunday in this 2 one day tourney weekend featuring both regular and multi-breed.
