This is a very fast and inexpensive way to have a good supply of small, tasty treats on hand for clicker training.

One package of hot dogs should make about four hundred treats. Use low-fat chicken or turkey dogs, as they have the fewest calories and can be bought for as little as fifty cents a pack.

1. Partially freeze a pack of lowfat chicken hot dogs. This makes them easier to cut.

3. Slice the spears into 1/8" thick pieces.

4. Each hot dog makes about 50 small treats.

5. Bag 'em up and freeze them in small batches.

6. When you're ready to clicker train, just grab a handful of treats from the freezer, microwave them for a few seconds to thaw and you're ready to go!

8. For larger, tastier treats, slice whole hot dogs into 1/4" thick discs.

9. Arrange them in a single layer on a paper plate and microwave for a few minutes. Freeze in baggies. Dogs go bonkers for these!
