During the winter season (October-April), Blew Bayou's practices are usually held on Sunday afternoons from 1 pm to 3 pm,
outdoors at the Leonard Recreation Center (off Ballinger Road in northwest Greensboro). Practice is normally cancelled if
the field is very wet or there is rain in the forecast.
Visitors are welcome and yes, of course you can bring your on-leash dog! Just be sure to email
us beforehand
to make sure we will be there, since we are sometimes out of town competing on weekends.
If visiting, we suggest bringing a lawn chair and water for your dog.
From the intersection of Friendly Road and Guilford College Road, go NORTH about 1/2 mile to the big intersection of College,
Fleming and New Garden Roads and get in the left turn lane. Take a LEFT onto Ballinger Road (heading WEST) and
go a few miles. The Leonard Center is on the RIGHT, across from the the Longview Golf Course. The team practices either
on the lower soccer field or in the narrow grassy area between the green ballfield fence and the woods off to the left side of the rec center grounds. Feel free to email us for details on
