This is DJ. Her official name is "In Hot Pursuit". She earned her name by always initiating a chase game with any Staffy that I paired her with. When I want a Staffy worked out I just let the dog play with DJ.
Still a pup at 9 months old, she dishes it out as good as she gets it. She was taught by her foster mom to hand touch, spin right and left and offer the down. She loves working food puzzles and is quick to learn new games. Flyball has come very easy to her. She learned to do the box turn in two lessons and learned to jump the hurdles in one lesson.
While playing, DJ is a high drive dog. However, she is very calm and mild mannered indoors and loves to cuddle in her doggie bed. No one's told her that she is an APBT. She thinks that she is a Staffy.
We still have a lot of ground to cover in training but, DJ is In Hot Pursuit of mastering her perfect clean run. Watch for this athletic girl in 2006.
