Milo hails from the Dallas-Ft. Worth area, a rescue boy from Fuzzy Wuzzy Rescue. I had been looking for a second sheltie for flyball when a teammate told me about a sheltie she had seen on a website. She sent me the link on Thursday night and by Sunday he was in his new home, safe and sound, and well-loved.
Although he had a rough start to his life, Milo has turned out to be a wonderful dog and an excellent companion. He graduated from his obedience class and is now enjoying running flyball. Milo loves chasing tennis balls and wrestling with his sisters Callie and Ivy and brothers Duncan and Hawkeye. Since rescue, he has learned all about the joys of rawhide chews and toys and how to be spoiled rotten like the rest of our pack. He is a "will work for food" type of dog and he loves to please. Milo likes to herd his siblings and his favorite passtimes are hurdling furniture, stealing socks and food from your plate, and alerting the world that it is his mealtime. He has recently earned his Canine Good Citizen certification.
Look for Milo at future flyball events, but keep a close eye on your snacks...they will disappear before your very eyes!
