Sprinkles was born (September, 2004) in Hutto, Texas, just a few miles from Triple Crown Dog Academy...very near her flyball destiny. She is a mix of who knows how many breeds and is gray sprinkled with black specks (officially called blue merle). Her name comes from the German word "sprenkeln" that means "speckled". She enjoys playing in water and we always get a kick out of watching her as she places a paw over a live sprinkler so it doesn't shoot her in the eye while she takes a drink or bite. She is very smart, always eager to please and is obsessed with small moving fuzzy things, especially tennis balls.
Sprinkles is currently training to be a flyball dog. She gets ever so excited each time we ask "are you ready to go play flyball?" First, she does a spinning dance and then leaps into the car. This is quite a feat since she used to be known as the "hurl girl" and hated car rides.
Sprinkles is looking forward to her first tournament. Come watch with her as she cheers for her new friends in Dogz Rule. Get it, get it, faster, faster!!
