Dogz Rule! FY 2008 Tournaments

The next tourney that the Dogz Rule! Flyball gang plans to attend will be Let Freedom Run, hosted by Lone Star Ruffnecks. Come see the Dogz race the weekend of July 18th - 20th at the Reliant Center in Houston, TX.

Daquiri Dawg Days
DR! hit the mats both days in New Caney and had a blast racing some tough competition. All of the dogs ran fast and furious! Here's how we fared:

Saturday - 4 Dogz with Ballz, 1st Place; Dogz D'Rule, 2nd Place
Sunday - 4 Dogz with Ballz, 1st Place; Dogz D'Rule, 4th Place

Eris made us proud with the only new title this weekend, FMX.

Shamrock Showdown
DR! raced two teams at Top Dog Racer's St. Patrick's Day themed tournament, and we raced in the Open Division for the first time. The Street Dogz took third place and the almighty Rummeraiderz placed fourth.

Dogz Rule! was well represented this time by our own Lucky Dogs - Sisko, Pua, and Ivy.  It was especially exciting to see Pua race for the very first time and win her FD title!  She made Dogz Rule! and all of the Lucky Dogs proud.

Hearts and Hounds
With the weather warm and hearts afire, the Dogz hit the mats with three teams this tourney. 4 Dogz with Ballz took 1st Place, Dogz in da Hood took 4th Place, and the almighty Rummeraiderz took 3rd place. The Flat Out Flyers did an outstanding job on this Valentine's Day themed tournament, we had a lot of fun!

Three of the Dogz won titles this weekend: Sprinkles, FDCh; Hawkeye, FDCh-G; and Harry, FMCh.

Hippie Hounds
The first tourney of the calendar year changed venues and host teams, so the Dogz went on the road to New Caney to have some flyball fun! Both the Dogz in da Hood and the Dogz D'Rule came in first place!!! It was a fun tourney that was well worth the trip. Dogz Rule! Flyball had no new titles this time, but we wish congrats to all the other teams earning titles this weekend.

Reggae Racers
It was the coolest tourney out there, mon- Reggae Racers! Folks donned their dreadlocks for a fun weekend of reggae music and flyball hosted by none other than DR!. The winner of the "Lime in da Coconut" contest was CIA with their awesome reggae song rendition. The teams fared well, with the both the Rummeraiderz and Dogz inda Hood taking 1st place, and the Dogz D'Rule finishing 4th.

Hawkeye was the only title winner this weekend, FDCh-S
