Great Balls of Fire 2007
The forecast and the racing were hot at Texas Heat's Great Balls of Fire tournament. Dogz Rule! sent 4 teams, and fun was had by all at this relaxed one-ring tournament. We actually had time to sit down between races! Our Multibreed team, Street Dogz, took 1st place, Dogz in da Hood took 3rd place, Rummeraiderz took 4th place, and Dogz D'Rule (vets) took 2nd place. The Dogz Rule! human flyball team, outfitted in their dredz, took home 1st place bragging rights as well.
The Dogz earned several titles this weekend: Marz, ONYX; Stella, FDCh-S; Hawkeye, FDCh; and Bushi, FDX. |

Let Freedom Run 2007
As always the Reliant tournament was a blast, complete with tons of racing, shopping, and other dog events like conformation, agility, freestyle, and obedience. The flyball lanes attracted the biggest crowds with all of the excitement! The Dogz took to the mats all three days with three teams each day.
Here's how the teams came out:
Friday: Street Dogz, 1st place; Rummeraiderz, 3rd place; Dogz D'Rule, 1st place.
Saturday/Sunday: 4 Dogz with Ballz, 2nd place; Dogz in da Hood, 2nd place; Rummeraiderz, 1st place.
Titles this weekend include: Rudie, FM; Bushi, FD; and Hawkeye, FD and FDX. |

Daquiri Dawg Daze
Region 5 hosted its first tournament at the Albert Sallas Show Barn in New Caney, TX, which is just north of Houston. The new facility was great as was all of the racing! It was nice to race with some teams we have not met before, including Grab n Go, Positive Pups, and Rocket Relay.
Here's how we fared:
Saturday: 4 Dogz with Ballz, 1st place; Dogz in da Hood, 1st place; Dogz D'Rule, 1st place.
Sunday: 4 Dogz with Ballz, 1st place; Dogz in da Hood, 4th place; Dogz D'Rule, 2nd place.
Titles included Stella, FDCh; Iz, FDCh-G; Callie, FMX; Ling, FMX; Scooter, FMCh; and Mim, FDGCh. Lots of new titles and blue ribbons this time! |

Spring Fling 2007
The Texas Twisters put on another fine show with this spring-themed tournament. It was really fun to see our friends from Launch and to share one big happy crating area with them! It was also a blast going head to head on the mats with the team from Colorado.
The Street Dogz took 1st place,
Dogz in da Hood took 2nd, Gotta Go! Da Poopz took 4th, and the Dogz of Hazzard took 2nd. New titles included
Sprinkles, FDX. |

Shamrock
Showdown 2007
Top Dog Racers hosted
a blast of a tourney in Hutto with the Shamrock Showdown. Everyone loved
the St. Patty's day theme and enjoyed the racing. A tribute to all the
"Lucky Dogs", our rescue babies, was made. Dogz Rule! was well
represented, as we have lots of rescues on the mats!
The Street Dogz took 1st place,
Dogz in da Hood took 2nd, and the Senior Streakers took 3rd. Titles included
Jack, FDCh-S; Rudie, FDCh-G, and Bruja, FMCh. |

Hearts
and Hounds 2007
The love of flyball
was in the air once again for this fun valentine-themed tourney. DR! took
three teams this time, including 4 dogz with Ballz, which took 2nd place;
Dogz in da Hood, 1st place; and Street Dogz, 1st place.
Titles included Harry, FMX and Eris, FM.

Hippie
Hounds 2007
Typical of Texas, the
January weather was fabulous for the Hippie Hounds tournament. The dogs
ran a lot and had some very close and competitive races at this 60's themed
tournament.
Three teams were on deck for this tournament:
4 Dogz with Ballz took 1st, Dogz in da Hood took 2nd,
and Street Dogz took 2nd. Titles included Marz,
FMCh, Jax, FDCh-G, and Rudie,

Frills, Lots of Thrills, 2006
The first tourney of
the new NAFA fiscal year was a lot of fun, and we saw the return of the
1 ring format. Many thanks to Flat Out Flyers for hosting this one - September
to January is too long to go without a flyball fix!
We took 4 teams this time. 4 Dogz with Ballz
took 4th, Dogz in da Hood took 3rd, Da Poopz took 1st,
and Senior Streakers took 2nd. Titles included Wichita,
