Baron Von Winston CD, RN, CGC

Flyball.com Q&A Forums
Baron is a 5-year old Golden Retriever, owned and handled by Christine Cruz.
Baron returned to the flyball lanes in May of 08 after a nearly two-year
hiatus and did not miss a beat, running consitently and earing his FDCh
title.
Baron has been clicker training since he was 9 weeks old. The biggest
advantage of this method of training for Baron is that it enables him
to learn how to problem solve while using his natural tendency to please
to encourage learning. As Baron is a very happy working dog, his biggest
thrill is doing an excersice correctly. He loves to work, he loves being
in the ring and he absolutly adores anything that puts him and me
together!
His first title was the CGC before he was 1 year old. His CD (Novice
Obedience) title was next, and in addition to earning a leg at each time
he showed, he earned 2 first placements and 1 second placement. His RN
(Rally novice) was earned just as quickly, all before he was 3. He has 2
legs towards his CDX (Open Obedience), with a first placement and a second
placement. Baron just turned three, and will be showing to earn his last
CDX leg, and soon he will start training hard for his UD, hunting, flyball
and agility.
Baron earned his FD title on 6/10/2006.
Baron earned his FDX title on 6/11/2006.
Baron earned his FDCh title on 5/17/08.
