U-CD Hunt’s Double R Bold Ginni Rose

Ginni, one of the original First in Flight team dogs, began her flyball career in 1996. She was the first North Carolina dog to earn the titles of FD, FDX, and FDCH. Throughout Ginni’s flyball career, she was almost always the untiring start dog. She learned to watch the lights and knew when it was time to go. Never known for blinding speed (her best recorded time is 4.91 at eight years of age), she is known as a dog who rarely makes mistakes. Generally quiet in the lineups, her signature trademark when playing flyball is a series of barks just after the last jump, immediately before hitting the box. Ginni, plagued by the effects of hip displaysia and arthritis, is mostly retired now. She does still play occasionally on a limited basis, and helps with the training of our green dogs. She is an enthusiastic, willing, and steady partner, and the beloved companion of the Hunt Family.
