Any rescue who has not previously been highlighted during Shamrock Showdown is a Lucky Dog. Doesn't matter if they're currently running, in training, retired, or even just a cheerleader on the sidelines. Any rescue including ones who have crossed over the rainbow bridge are eligible. To have your Lucky Dog highlighted at this year's Shamrock Showdown, just write-up their story (no more than approximately 250 words) and attach your favorite photo of them. (photo optional) E-mail their story and photo to Elizabeth Currin no later than Friday, February 26. When I receive your story and write-up I will send you a confirmation e-mail. All of this year's Lucky Dogs will be eligible to win the "Lucky Dog" basket. A special "Lucky Dog" drawing will take place during the awards ceremony at the end of the tournament.
