TEAM ROSTER CALENDAR TEAM UPDATES WHAT IS FLYBALL?

Rev it Up Flyball Team is a team based out of San Jose, CA, just 40 miles south of San Francisco. Our team competes in both U-Fli and NAFA tournaments throughout the flyball racing season. We are a small close knit group who all have a common goal to have fun with their dogs as well as their teammates. Rev it Up likes to be competitive in whichever division we are in, however we are the first to laugh when our rerun for the WIN becomes a scene out of America's Funniest Videos!

We believe that it takes a team to compete as well as train. All individuals who are part of Rev it Up play a key role in the success of the team. Whether they box load, line coach, track stats or move around props during training, we rely on each other to ensure each of our dogs are trained to their individual optimum ability, taking an out of the box approach when necessary.

Check out our team roster for more info on our Racers, present, future and past.

Mad Dogs Spring Fever Flyball Tournament
Vallejo, CA
4/26 & 4/27

We're back from a fun and exciting weekend in Vallejo, CA! Mad Dogs Flyball Club did a great job with the tournament and the judges kept things moving really well. This was an indoor tournament on an indoor soccer field. Touch N Go and Flying Aces from Las Vegas, NV made the trek up. It was great to see the whole gang out there and to see Twizzy's 1/2 siblings tearing up the lanes!

Our team ran well, still trying to work our newbies into the line up! Big brag for us, Maggie the toy poodle mix ran almost flawless all weekend! The few flaws she had, were people errors....  Moorea, the boxer ran almost flawlessly as well and did a great job holding her ball even in very warm temps. Moorea earned her TF-I! Vandal the lil BJ, had some left lane issues, but we'll work through it and she'll be back in the lanes at the next tournament. And Aries, the pit/bc/boxer mix made his singles debut! His first singles race was against a ghost - so a great way to ease into it and his 2nd against a JRT. Both the JRT and Aries did so well! This is the first dog, since the team restructuring that we had trained together as a team from start to finish!

Big Congrats to all of our members for another great tournament of TEAM accomplishments!

Leap of Faith Flyball Tournament

Madera, CA
3/15 -3/16

What a great kick off to the 2008 flyball season! Rev it up went in with one regular racing team on Saturday and various singles and pairs throughout the weekend. Overall the team ran really well, with only a few hiccups along the way, not bad at all considering we had three newbies and two seasoned dogs on the team roster.

Tara and her toy poodle mix Maggie, came out of the weekend w/their first U-Fli title and a new personal best of 7.75 seconds! Maggie ran not only in singles, but pairs and team racing! Maggie looked like a Pro out there, racing w/the big dogs and showing them that though she's not the fastest dog out there, she's pretty darn consistent for a newbie!GO MAGGIE!

Mark and his Boxer Moorea, showed us why she was named fastest Boxer in U-Fli for 2007, she got faster and faster after each run and had the fastest singles time of the weekend at 4.4! She also earned her first U-Fli title in team racing on Saturday.  Moorea ran in singles, pairs and team racing over the weekend and showed that you don't have to own a border collie to tear up the lanes. GO REA!

And last but not least, Ally and her lil borderjack Vandal made their debut to the racing lanes this weekend. Vandal did a great job on Saturday, she ran consistently under 5 seconds and in a few heats hit some personal bests. Vandal ran a 4.39 on Sunday w/a reaction time of .3 so her time on the clock was 4.7. This was a topper on our cake, the lil border jack hit a 4.3 in her first tournament! Vandal competed in singles, pairs and team racing throughout the weekend and also earned her first U-Fli title. GO VANDAL!

Big Congrats to all of our newbies and their handlers!

Congrats to Moorea & Melissa!
Moorea was named the Fastest Boxer in UFLI for 2007 w/a time of 5.083
