The Croydon
Rocket Scientists
The Croydon Rocket Scientists are the top team
of the Croydon Rockets. The team now consists of the following five dogs:-
Astro (handled by Wendy Gauntlett), Ezri
(handled by Ian Gauntlett), Jagger (handled by
Eric van Zuyden), Jeddah (handled by Cathy Trudinger)
and Taffie (handled by Richard or Kirstie Law).
Buddy (handled by Penny Prendergast) was also a
member of the team for some time. Kirstie Law is the box loader. Jeddah
is one height dog with a jump height of 11 inches, Ezri another at 13 inches.
The team won the AFA Team of the Year for 2000-2001 and the Pro Plan Cup
for 2000-2001.
All dogs in the team wear flyball racing harnesses made by Black Dog
Wear (contact Warren at blackdog@eisa.net.au for information about Black
Dog Wear).
