Thank you all for entering
the "Let Freedom Run V" tournament.
Enclosed in this packet are plastic wristbands for unlimited entry to
the show and tan "hang-tags" to allow you access to the Exhibitor
Parking Lot. Please see the score table
if you did not receive the appropriate amount.
SCHEDULES - The Racing and judging
schedule is under construction, and should be on the website by the time you
receive this. Copies will be available
at check-in. Thanks to all the teams that have so graciously responded with
offers to help. We are attempting to
allow teams adequate time to race and we are working hard to get everything
done fairly. The judging schedule will
be available at the site and on line as soon as it is completed.
CRATING - Crating will begin
on Thursday morning no earlier than 8 AM.
Crating will open at 6:30 AM
on Friday and 6 AM on Saturday and Sunday.
We are assigning crating space for each team. Space is limited and to best utilize the area
we have had to preplan who goes where.
Stacking of crates will help make an efficient use of what space we do
have. Many of the decisions were made
strictly on size of team and how best to fit you and others in. This is the best we can do with what we were
given. A special note to those crated
along the wall. You may not get closer
than a foot from the wall so please make your plans accordingly. A crating map will be added to the tournament
web site.

HOSPITALITY - You are
welcome to enjoy a very limited amount of hospitality in your team area but
nothing extreme is to be allowed. The
contractor for this facility would be looking for loss of revenue and you will
be asked to close up any large displays of food and drinks. Excellent food is available within the
ELECTRICITY - There will be
a supply of electricity available for the crating area. You may need to be prepared to run an
extension cord to your particular area but heavy use will trip a breaker and
cut off power to your area and others sharing the outlet, so please be
reasonable about power consumption.
PARKING PASSES – The tan hang-tags
are to allow flyball competitors into the correct parking lots assigned for
exhibitors. You still have to pay for
your parking, but these hangtags simply tell the attendants to allow you into
additional parking areas. Parking passes are a privilege and abuse will result
in all of us losing this new privilege, so be kind, considerate, and car pool
when you can.
RACE NUMBERS - As always we
will provide race numbers that are visible, but it our intention to use a
family radio band to announce the race numbers as we have done in the past. This will allow those in the outside area to
hear what race is taking place and be prepared to race on time. If your team is interested, come prepared
with a Motorola Family Radio or similar substitute and the frequency will be
announced at Captain's meeting. This
will also allow anyone wishing to shop to hear the current race number and plan
accordingly. This frequency will not be
used for two way conversations but limited to race numbers only.
DOG BREAK AREAS - There will
be access to the grass outside but it will be monitored for cleanliness so
please pick up the area after each use.
And indoor cedar shaving area will be provided at the back of the racing
lanes for those that do not chose to walk to the grass.
Time Line: Friday measuring will start at 0700, racing
to start at 0800.
Time Line: Saturday measuring will start at 0630, racing
