    Day is a foundation to the Ruff Riders Flyball Team, one of the "Original Five".  With the help of his teammates Kish, Shadow and Mick, (and Rocky, Theo and Tuff before them), Day achieved his Flyball Masters title in September 1996.

    Day is the anchor dog on the Receivers team.   Though not one of the fastest dogs on the Ruff Riders team, Day is certainly one of the most consistent.  He can always be counted on to do his part for the team.

     Being the "victim" of a training regime that consisted of "Let's try this" and "Let's try that" has not diminished Day's enthusiasm for flyball.  Over the years he has helped introduce many dogs and people to the wonderful sport of flyball.   Day is a patient teacher of passes, showing the "new kids on the block" that passes are not anything to worry about.
