    Max is the first Cavalier King Charles Spaniel to earn his Flyball Championship in NAFA, a fact that his handler Darcey is very proud of.   Currently, he is also the #1 Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.

    Max started his training later in life, at the age of 5 years.  Not being a very aggressive dog (in playing), but willing to do just about anything for a morsel of food, Max was ready to play as a spare after a year of training.   Due to set-backs that have occurred, Max runs as the anchor dog on the Running Backs team. 

    Though being told that the Cavalier is not a breed capable of playing strenous sports, now after 2 years of racing, Max comes to the line as excited as any other dog.
