I
am a smooth coated Border Collie, born north of Cochrane Aberta
on July 13. My parents Mom (Meg) , was born in Wales but moved to Canada at a
very young age where she Met my Dad (Rob) who works on a farm near Sundre
Alberta. He helps Ron the farmer look after the sheep and cows. I like working
the sheep , but I live in a 2 storey condo, in Calgary, they don't like having
sheep around.
My handler, Phil, has introduced me to agility and Flyball
which is a great replacement for my real passion of herding, oh well the
Flyball is a blast, even though my handler forgets how to play it. I've
met some wonderful dogs and some real nice humans. We've traveled
to many flyball tournaments where we have improved each time and I get to eat
hotel food, just kidding, but I do get to stay in some nice motels away from
home.
As I was mentioning earlier I am a smooth coated gal, my
cousins are all different, in colours, size and coats. Some of them are large
with traditional coats, some are red and white like Arnold who's one of
my team mates and some are even like salt and pepper. We all love to work and
play ... even more than eating our food, unless of course it's human food.
