What is Flyball?

Flyball is a sport for dogs and handlers where a team is formed of 4 dogs in a relay race over four hurdles to receive a ball from a spring loaded box then return over the four hurdles. The returning dog is then passed by the next dog in a well timed sequence.

Flyball’s governing body is The North American Flyball Association or NAFA. Dogs earn points towards titles, points are determined by team time.

Less than 32 secs: each dog earns 1 point

Less than 28 secs: each dog earns 5 points

Less than 24 secs: each dog earns 25 points
